The Medium Science Lab is filled with scientists working at terminals, examining samples and monitoring a maze of advanced laboratory equipment. A Rank Officer watches from the edge of the room as readings begin to fluctuate across several displays.

One of the scientist hurriedly checks a containment unit while another tries to determine why the equipment is behaving strangely. The lab remains functional, but an uneasy silence has settled over the room as warning indicators begin to flash. Whatever the scientists have discovered, it is clear that something has gone very wrong...
