The search party stopped in the corridor when they spotted a fellow Marine sealed inside the small isolation room behind the observation window. A Sergeant pounded on the reinforced glass while the trapped Marine desperately shouted for the door to remain locked. Sweat covered the Marine's face as they backed away from the window with trembling hands.
No one outside could understand what had happened, only that something had terrified a hardened Colonial Marine enough to imprison themselves. Then the motion tracker in the corridor gave a single sharp contact reading...
