The corridor ran tight and narrow, cells pressed along the right-hand wall like silent watchers. The Enforcer led the way, the dim light glinting off the edge of his blaster as he scanned the shadows ahead. The Sharpshooter moved just behind, gaze cutting between the path forward and the rows of prisoners staring from behind energy barriers.

Some shouted curses, others only grinned, their faces lit by the ghostly red glow of the containment fields. The stale air carried the faint burn of ozone, and the deeper they pushed, the louder the alarms wailed. Every step was a reminder—they were trespassers in a fortress built to crush intruders...
