The Enforcer pushed through the doorway first, blaster raised, scanning the dimly lit control room. Panels lined the walls, their displays flickering with streams of security data. The Operator sat slumped over the console, stunned and breathing shallow, the faint crackle of the comm still hissing in his ear.

The Sharpshooter moved to the far side, eyes darting between the blinking lights and the corridor feed showing cells bursting with movement. The hum of the ship’s systems was louder here, pulsing like the heartbeat of the prison itself. One switch, one command, and the balance of control could shift in their favor—if they could hold the room long enough to use it...
