3D printers are more affordable than you think!
We believe that now is the time every miniature gamer should be purchasing a printer. 3D printers have come down in price and are more reliable than ever.
Some of our designs by customers have been printed to a very high quality for as little as $200 US for a Creality Ender 3.
For an investment of dollars and your time, you could be on your way printing out our designs and making the gaming table of your dreams. There is something truly magical when you see a design come to life in front of you.
Our personal Recommendations:
- Best Print Size - Creality Cr10s
- Best Low Cost - Creality Ender 3
- Best Design - Prusa i3 MK3
- Best Speed - Flsun QQ-S Pro and compact design (Round Plate)
- Best Overall Printer - Bambu Labs A1 (voted by fans) ***
- When purchasing a 3d FDM printer, the build plate volume is important. The larger the plate, the easier to print larger designs. We recommend a minimum 200mm by 200mm. If the build plate is round, the actual print volume is less. See pic.
- We started with 4 Creality S1 machines and they did a great job, but they are not the most reliable and had to be fixed many times. It's a great starter 3d printer for those that want to tinker.
- Print speeds have greatly increased in the last few years and now a user has to consider high speed filament and even multicolor options. When printing in multicolor the prints take a lot longer and waste a lot of filament as it changes colors during the print.
Cheers!
In the end, it does not matter what you choose, even consider a good used quality machine from a person you trust. A 3D printer will provide you with years of fun and will pay for itself very, very quickly. Just enjoy the journey!
